Roe deer can be spotted within the historic woodlands and 170 -acre

parkland of Callendar Park, which serves as a natural retreat for wildlife.

The Roe deer is a slender, medium sized deer native to the UK, easily

identified by its lack of a visible tail and a distinctive white rump patch.

Their coat changes seasonally from a bright reddish brown in summer to a dull

grey or dark brown in winter.
