Only males are called “peacocks”, famous for their large, iridescent, fan-like
tail feathers, which they display for mating. Females are called peahens.
This is Rebus resting in his enclosure at Pittencrieff park, he’s white
and loves cheese.
Unfortunately Peacocks no longer roam free in Callendar park as they did in the 1970’s.
