Only males are called “peacocks”, famous for their large, iridescent, fan-like

tail feathers, which they display for mating. Females are called peahens.

This is Rebus resting in his enclosure at Pittencrieff park, he’s white

and loves cheese.

Unfortunately Peacocks no longer roam free in Callendar park as they did in the 1970’s.
