The Carrion Crow is the most common black crow in this part of Scotland,
often seen foraging for insects or resting on the park’s mature trees.
They are highly intelligent birds with cognitive abilities comparable to
a seven year old child. They remember human faces, communicate complex information
to peers and engage in social behaviours like “funerals”.
